Questions?

This small unincorporated waterfront town was first established in 1890 by Vincent and Ida Finch. Once a thriving logging community, it is now best known as the "Gateway to the Olympics". Located on scenic Highway 101 along the shores of Hood Canal, it is fast becoming a weekend get away. It is only a 2 hour drive from Seattle, yet the visitor feels like they are a world away. The area offers shellfish gathering, wine tasting, hiking, boating, scuba diving, fishing, scenic and wildlife photography opportunities, RV camping, cabins, motels, vacation home rentals, restaurants and shops.
